UNI-CHIP by EUROCOMPULSION®/HPSI

THANK YOU for purchasing our UNI-CHIP system. This install procedure is fairly easy but if you do run into an difficulties please do not hesitate to contact us. Tools Needed: 1-10mm wrench Time Needed: 5-10min *(Make sure car is cool) Skill Level: Level 1-5: Skill level .5 (Yes, POINT 5) INSTALL PROCEDURE STEP 1 - With 10mm wrench remove Battery Ground (Always when working with the ECU) (Pic 1) STEP 2 – Pull back yellow tabs on ECU Harness (Pic 2) STEP 3 – Pull Back Black Clips on-top of ECU (remove ECU CONNECTORS) (Pic 3,4) STEP 4 - Insert Uni-Chip Harness as shown (Pic 5) STEP 5 – Connect ECU Harness to Uni-Chip (Pic 6) STEP 6 - Push Back Uni-Chip harness and insert corresponding Unip Chip Harness.(Pic 7) STEP 7 – Insert Uni-Chip Q wire into Uni-Chip Module (DO NOT PLUG IN COM WIRE!!) (Pic 8) STEP 8 - Secure Uni-Chip Module into desired location (we reccommend placing the Uni-Chip Q+ behind the factory ECU , see image below) Congratulations Your All Finished! ADDITIONAL PDF INSTRUCTIONS (credit: RON M. aka DOCRON) INSTALL NOTES: - There is no break in period with this unit, simply step on the gas and go, it will go through a learning period and settle to parameters we have targeted after a few drive cycles. If you have issues running the uni-chip, attempt a drive in cycle which includes a few cycles of low loads, medium loads and high loads. -Again DO NOT PLUG IN COM WIRE!!!!! - If purchased with the Uni-Chip switch you can change maps on the fly, the Uni-Chip selector can be wired in through the main wiring harness of via a rubber plug behind the brake pedal. -WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLACING THE UNI-CHIP Q+ UNIT BEHIND THE FACTORY ECU.
